I’ve finished Le Slouch, like it a lot.
Mrs Apskata is kind enough to help me finish my matching scarf.
Soon you’ll see me strolling around matching like hell. The yellow monkeys are delivered to Pia, Lina’s white pair almost done and a black pair for Yvonne next to go on the needles.
I present to you a proper pic of Faye, I’m starting to like it more and more.
The texture is amazing and its soft and cozy…maybe it will grow in to a favorite!
I decided to go for a jaywalker with the Kaffe Fasset Regia, it’s a perfect pattern for self striping yarn but it gives a very rigid sock, this is NOT a stretchy pattern.
I have this pattern for a sweater in my head, a sweater I want so so much. I’ve gone from yarn store to yarn store to find the perfect yarn to this child of my fantasy. I’ve found it, it has the perfect color and all other properties I want in a yarn as well. Problem: it’s a Rowan yarn and the total cost for my darling sweater would be something like 1200 SEK (approximately 170 dollar) at that’s just a little bit too much for a student like me… especially since I’ve already gone way over my yarn budget this month. Maybe I should start rethinking my future as a molecular biologist and start to focus more on theft and so on, A-K the yarn thief. If I get Pat to join me we can be the Bonnie and Clyde of the knitting community.
Oh and I’m on ravelry…yay!
