Pimp my sewing machine

And that’s exactly what my dear spouse and Janne did. Pat transformed it from some grayish kind of beige into shiny black with white details while Janne “the sewing machine whisperer” made it run smoothly once again. Much appreciated guys.

Now I’m gonna dig into this pile of stash fabric and after some sewing and a touch of embroidery I will show you my latest project.  

"Danskjävlar!"

Sweden vs. Denmark tomorrow, will we be in or out of the next world championship in soccer…that’s the question. I and some gals almost stumble upon this pile of poop, beautifully embellished with the Danish flag, at söder in Stockholm after the previous Sweden - Denmark encounter… which we unfortunately lost.

 If they beat us again I’m gonna spend my Sunday watching Ernst-Hugo screaming “danskjävlar!” over and over and over again.

To compensate for my temporary despise against the Danish people I’ve cast on for a pair of baby socks in red and white.

I’m such a wimp, why can’t I just go all the way and loathe them for a day or two?

Two times pansar shawl

One for Annelie’s 60^th birthday

And one for Jenny just because I adore her. The shawl is the black thing wrapped around her neck, the fingers may seem to be the main focus in this picture but it’s not, it’s all about the shawl. Let’s just call it arty shall we!

Pat’s parents came to celebrate his birthday bringing us all these goodies from their summer house garden; the eggplants are so cute that I almost won’t eat them. And the grapes taste like something made out of heaven.

It is October, it’s chilly and I love it. I couldn’t care less about winter lurking around the corner, bring it on I’m ready cause I’ve got mitts and shawls all over the house just waiting to fight the cold off.
