Swallowtail

I bought a lot of pinkish cotton lace weight at a thrift store in Gamleby last year, and what a bargain it was, two giant skeins for 10 kr/1,5 USD. But what was I to do with all this pink yarn, I don’t even like pink that much! The 13^th of February I was in desperate need for something to knit while watching the Olympics so I decided to knit a swallowtail for my niece Ellen.

It was a quick and fun knit and it looks great and Ellen loves pink so I think she will like it. I still have enough yarn left to make 6 more…what am I to do with all this pink.

One more elephant

This is my sixth elephant, I gave them all away but this one is here to stay.

 
 

Or to be perfectly honest the fourth, the pink one,  is hidden deep within my yarn cabinet. The reason for that is that his/hers  trunk resembles a giant possum penis, for real, its scary.

I haven’t even bothered to sew on the ears, it repulses me. You can’t really see it in the picture but I promise you it’s very possum penis like.

Anyway I knit this new one in navy blue and I’m going put it on the windowsill in our living room.  It’s going to look greeeeaaaaat.
