4 x socks

I’m totally hooked on knitting socks, plain, striped or lace pattern doesn’t matter. I always have at least one sock project on the needles. Right now I’m working on a design of my own. So far I have ripped it TEN times and I’m starting to believe that this project is cursed. I won’t give up quite yet though but I’ve decided that if I ever get to the fifteenth rip then I will surrender to the evil forces that make me do all this mistakes and burn the leftovers. These four pairs are now warming the feet of some friends and family.

Moooody owl mittens with a peek-a-boo thumb

 

We are all waiting for spring I know and who wants to knit mittens now??? Well I just couldn’t resist knitting these when the pattern started to form in my mind. The blue ones are for jenny and the black one with the yellow intarsia beak is for me, myself and I.

I used 2,5 mm dpns and qualitas sock yarn in grey and black. I added a peek-a-boo styled thumb just for the fun of it. The pattern can be downloaded as a PDF for 4 $, enjoy!

I think I’m gonna go for a walk in the sun with my stylish mittens:)
